Pretty In Ink

Locations

Alameda

2329 Santa Clara Avenue, Suite 205. Alameda, California.

510-263-8187

Our first location, founded in 2015. Located on the second floor of the I.O.O.F. building on the corner of Park and Santa Clara. Our Alameda location provides a more cozy and private experience than that of a street facing shop.

Hours

We take walk-ins at Alameda Sunday & Monday 12-6, as time allows, on a first come first served basis. The front door of our building remains locked, so you will need to call us upstairs for the door code upon arrival.

We are appointment only Tuesday-Saturdays.

We expanded into Oakland in 2019. Our Oakland location provides more space and a more accessible facility for those with mobility limitations. Conveniently located near 19th street BART, as well as the bars and restaurants along Telegraph Avenue and Broadway.

Hours

We accept walk-ins every day at our Oakland location from 12-6 as time allows, on a first come first served basis.

We recommend you call ahead of time to check about same day availability, as some days we are booked up ahead of time. To make an appointment, reach out to your favorite Oakland artist directly, or fill out our general booking form.

Oakland

Transportation

Alameda is located closest to the Fruitvale BART station and 880 freeway. If you’re arriving by car, we suggest parking in the movie theater parking lot, which is located at 1416 Oak St. The rate at the theater lot is cheaper than the meters on the street, which are monitored frequently.

Oakland is located closest to the 19th street BART station, a half mile, about a 10 minute walk. If you’re arriving by car, there is street parking available on 24th at most hours of the day. Some of it is metered and some of it is not. There’s more non-metered spots one block away from Telegraph on Northgate. Do not leave anything visibly enticing in your car.

Accessibility

In Alameda we are located on the second floor of the IOOF building. There is an elevator up to the second floor. and a small lip at the entrance of our suite. If you use a wheelchair, give your artist a heads up in case any elevator maintenance is scheduled during your appointment. The bathroom at our Alameda location cannot fit a wheelchair but the restaurant downstairs is able to accommodate.

In Oakland we are on ground floor and our bathroom has an entrance wide enough to accommodate most chairs. If you wish to work with one of our Alameda artists but are concerned about accessibility, let your artist know and they will be happy to see you in our Oakland location with enough notice.
