Est. 2015
Pretty In Ink: Alameda was founded in 2015 by senior artist, Amy Muller. We opened a second location in Oakland in 2019 to accommodate our growth.
Our Alameda studio is a cozy and private suite upstairs in the IOOF building in the heart of downtown Alameda, just off Park street.
Our Oakland studio is located in the bustling uptown neighborhood on 24th and Telegraph.
Both locations are queer run and have a number of trans and non binary tattooers.

Get to Know Our Artists
We believe that the best way to be happy with your tattoos is to choose an artist who suits the project. We encourage you to take the time to explore our portfolios and biographies to better understand what we have to offer you. Choose an artist who’s style fits your vision, and you’ll be happy with your tattoo for a lifetime.
General Booking
If your priority is a set schedule, or you believe your tattoo could be executed well by any of our artists, feel free to fill out our general booking form and we will assign an artist to you. This is also a great option if you are a group of 3 or more looking to schedule your tattoos for the same day.
We offer walk in tattoos as time allows on a first come first served basis. We encourage you to call the shop to ask about same day availability.

“I got the back of my shoulder tattooed by Alex. I was really nervous because in scared of needles, pain, commitment... And I was never psyched about the first tattoo I got from someone else years ago.
We did my tattoo in two sessions. After the line work was done I was already in love and staring at my new tattoo all the time. When I went to get the color done yesterday, it was during their inktober promotion. Alex's work was so incredible that [they] actually relieved my tattoo anxiety.
